Woven with time and care on a traditional shuttle loom, the towels have two outer layers of soft gauze and an inner layer of highly absorbent cotton pile. The result is a super soft, warm but light-weight towel that will almost certainly elevate your bathing rituals.
About Shinto Towel
Shinto Towel are based in Osaka, Japan and have been producing premium textiles for over 100 years. A characteristic of the Senshu towel is atozarashi – a post-weave refining process. By washing and bleaching after weaving, the starch, oils, and other impurities in the fibre can be removed, producing greater absorbency while preserving the fluffy texture.
