Runwell Cocktail Stirrers
Decades ago, American oil workers in the Persian Gulf discreetly added vodka to their orange juice while on the job. Lacking a spoon, the workers decided to stir the drink with a screwdriver. Hence the drink’s name. These stainless steel tool shaped stirrers are perfect for mixing cocktail ingredients.
“Ideal Qualia”, Runwell’s basic concept - Perfect tools should have the right feel of texture and quality.
Runwell began life started in 1935 as a scrap metal workshop called “Aiba Dotetsu-ten” in Tsubame-Sanjo, Japan, an area famous for metalworking for centuries. In 1963, after investing in new forges, they began making tools for cars and agricultural machinery. In the late 1980s, they experimented with new materials and techniques and in 2011, their new brand RUNWELL was born. A combination of traditional methods and experience from making custom tools for major corporations resulted in a level of quality worthy of the 'Made in Japan' label.
